- Wellness nooks with low seating, warm wood tones, and potted nandina plants—mini oases for mental reset.

When a sustainable fashion brand launched its first flagship in Sanlitun, we avoided the cold minimalism often seen in eco-brands. Instead, we crafted a space that felt alive:
- Walls finished in tuhuang (earth yellow) plaster, echoing traditional courtyard homes.
- Display fixtures made from reclaimed pine, each with visible grain and knots—celebrating imperfection.
- A central “tea talk” zone where staff serve longjing tea and chat with guests, turning transactions into relationships.

Sliding shoji-inspired partitions allow the living room to become a quiet study or guest area when needed. Kitchen cabinetry in soft grey oak keeps the space light, while accent walls in warm hongmu red evoke subtle tradition.
We used color thoughtfully, drawing from the NCS 2022 trends:
- Zience (meditative clarity) in bedrooms with soft greys and indigo accents.
